Located in the heart of Ipswich, Red
Rose Chain is an inspiring organisation that reaches out to all areas of the
community via the medium of film and theatre.
Not only does their creativity, enthusiasm and passion for the arts
project through their public productions, but the folks at Red Rose reach out to
connect with young people and those who are normally ignored or overlooked by
mainstream arts.
By working with local government and
social care professionals, Red Rose aim to tackle important social issues,
challenging current thought to connect with young people, giving them an
opportunity and means for expression and self-improvement.
Red Rose Chain run a variety of
workshops, produce short films and new writing, engaging schools, colleges and
the community with reams of artistic talent, drive, vibrancy and humour.

announce their support of Red Rose Chain as presenting partner for their
up-coming Theatre in the Forest production - 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.
Running from July 28th to
August 29th 2010 this outdoor production plays out in the heart of
Rendlesham Forest, a back drop that Red Rose utilise to the full, adding
atmosphere and energy. If you’ve not
been before then A Midsummer Night's Dream is not to be missed.
Arrive early, book a picnic, the
metaphoric curtain goes up as the sun goes down....
